We also use information gathered through the Website and the Service to communicate with Registered Users from whom such information was gathered to provide promotional marketing materials about us. However, unlike communications which are essential to provide services (“Essential Communications”), promotional communications are optional (“Optional Communications”), and the company will abstain from sending that type of information to you if you inform us that you do not prefer to receive them, as described in more detail below. Thinker Place uses Non-Personal Information in a wide variety of ways, including, by way of example, to assess the performance of the website as well as service and the general preferences of users, or to generate any anonymous statistics for our benefit or our business partners. Because Non-Personal Information is completely anonymous, and therefore can never be used by us to identify your information, this privacy policy does not limit our ability to use or disclose Non-Personal Information. We may generate Non-Personal Information records from Personal Information by excluding the information (such as your name) that make the personal data personally identifiable to you. If we gather information through the Website and/or the service that you offer to us voluntarily through online forms or surveys, through our email communications or by other means, we will treat that information as explained above, as applied to both Personal Information and Non-Personal Information. As an essential part of providing services, we may disclose data gathered from you as described in this privacy policy. For example, we may disclose specific Personal Information about you to our third-party service providers (for example, our third-party payment processors), so long as they are just using the Personal Information to render services to us. If you don’t wish us to make such Essential Disclosures, or to use Non-Personal Information without any restriction, you must not use the Service. We may leverage third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Site. These third-party companies may use data (not including your name, gender, address, email address, or the telephone number) about all your visits to this and other websites to offer advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you enter and win a contest, offer, or other promotion, you expressly consent to (a) company offering your Personal Information (like, your name and address) to the third party providing the prize for the contest, offer, or other promotion, solely to provide you with such prize and (b) company publicly disclosing your name as well as the fact that you won the contest or promotion. Suppose we are disclosing additional Personal Information in connection with a contest or other promotion. In that case, we will disclose that to you in a separate notice before you enter the contest or other promotion. By entering such a contest, offer, or other promotion, you expressly consent to such disclosures.

Access To Personal Information Collected From You

Registered Users may access their Profiles at any time to update their Personal Information incorporated within that Registration Profile. Subsequent uses or the disclosures of information by us will reflect those changes, but we cannot update any required information previously disclosed to any of the third-parties. You may request removal of your Personal Information by us, but note that we may be needed to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this data for a specific time, in which case Thinker Place will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled all such requirements). When we delete any of the collected information, it will be deleted from the active database but may reside in our archives. The website has few security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse as well as unauthorized alteration of Personal Information in the company’s possession as well as control. For example, whenever our service requests that Registered Users offer sensitive information, that information is well-encrypted with industry-standard encryption techniques. When you are trying to view a secure page within the website, such as our website checkout form, an icon of a padlock will appear as ‘locked’ at the bottom of web browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer. Still, the same icon will appear as ‘unlocked’ when the user is mere ‘surfing.’ We currently use an encryption program also known as ‘SSL,’ or ‘Secure Sockets Layer.’ To learn more about SSL certificates, go to http://www.ssl.com/. The credit card authorization applications are sent using the same encryption technology.

Furthermore, any access to Personal Information is physically restricted within all of our own offices, so that only specific of our employees are granted access to information as appropriate to perform particular jobs and tasks (e.g., performing any customer service). Please be aware that, although we try to provide security for information in our possession and control, no security system can defend or prevent against all potential security breaches, and we bear no such liability for uses or disclosures of either Personal Information or Non-Personal Information arising in connection with the data theft thereof. Likewise, our Registered Users are responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality of your passwords to any Services, and we bear no liability for any access to, or use or disclosure of, Personal Information, if similar access, use, or disclosure arises in connection with the theft or disclosure (whether negligent or intentional) of a password. If you have any particular questions about our security measures, you can click here to contact us www.thinkerplace.in
